Luxury Bloc & PURE Life Experiences 2026: What Caught Our Attention This Year?

In September, we attended Luxury Bloc in Prague and PURE Life Experiences in Marrakech. At both events, we had the opportunity to meet hoteliers and partners from around the world in person and discover places we can confidently recommend to our clients as well.

We selected six places and partners that impressed us the most. These are the ones we would like to introduce in more detail.

.Here, Maldives

One of the new openings that caught our attention this year is .Here in the Maldives’ Baa Atoll. Its concept is built around privacy. The entire resort consists of just nine residences spread across two islands called Somewhere and Nowhere.

Seven residences are located on Somewhere Island and offer three or four bedrooms, a private pool and direct access to the ocean. The second island, Nowhere, features just two residences and can be reserved in its entirety. .Here can therefore be an especially appealing choice for families or groups of friends looking for plenty of private space during their stay.

The concept also places strong emphasis on a highly personalised approach to every stay. There is no fixed itinerary, allowing guests to shape each day around their own preferences, whether they want to explore the underwater world of Baa Atoll, dedicate time to wellness or simply enjoy the privacy of their own island.

Kisawa Sanctuary, Mozambique

Located on Benguerra Island in Mozambique, Kisawa Sanctuary brings together nature, privacy and local culture. The resort stretches across 300 hectares of island landscape, yet consists of only eight residences.

Each has its own stretch of beach, a private pool and generous outdoor space. Local artisans were closely involved in the creation of the resort, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The result is a place designed to blend naturally into the island environment while offering guests exceptional space and privacy.

Wellness and exploring the surrounding nature are also an important part of the Kisawa experience. Guests can visit the Natural Wellness Center, go snorkelling or diving, or set out on a traditional dhow sailing trip. Thanks to its location in the Bazaruto Archipelago, the underwater world is one of the main reasons to visit.

Around the World by Private Jet

Another concept that caught our attention this year is travelling around the world by private jet. Over the course of several weeks, it allows guests to discover multiple destinations across different continents and connect them within a single itinerary.

These journeys take place in smaller groups, with a private aircraft accompanying guests between each stop, removing the need to arrange individual flights, transfers or luggage logistics. The programme also includes carefully selected hotels, local guides and experiences in every destination.

Each itinerary is different and may include destinations in South America, Polynesia, Asia or Africa. Travelling by private jet allows the journey to flow seamlessly from one place to the next, connecting destinations that would otherwise be much more demanding in terms of both time and logistics.

Barracuda Hotel & Villas, Brazil

On the coast of Bahia in Brazil, in the region of Itacaré, this retreat is set within 26 hectares of Atlantic Forest and brings together the surrounding nature, Brazilian culture and understated Scandinavian design.

Accommodation is available in 17 spacious suites or in private villas, which are particularly well suited to families and groups of friends. Each villa has its own pool, kitchen and outdoor spaces overlooking the ocean or surrounding forest. Guests also benefit from hotel service and a dedicated team that takes care of the villa as well as preparing meals using fresh local ingredients.

Gastronomy and a close connection with the local surroundings are an important part of the Barracuda experience. The kitchen works with produce sourced from local growers and fishermen while drawing on traditional Bahian culinary techniques. A stay can also be complemented with surfing, excursions into the surrounding nature, wellness or yoga.

Song Saa Private Island, Cambodia

In the Koh Rong Archipelago off the coast of Cambodia lies a private island resort that combines a seaside stay with a strong focus on the surrounding environment and its protection. Song Saa is made up of two islands, Koh Ouen and Koh Bong, connected by a footbridge crossing a marine reserve. There are just 24 villas set either within the jungle or directly over the water, all with their own private pool.

Nature here is far more than just a backdrop. Guests can explore the rainforest with local experts, snorkel around nearby reefs, kayak through mangroves or take part in coral restoration activities. Wellbeing is another distinctive part of the concept, inspired by Cambodian traditions and including yoga, meditation and treatments using local plants.

NIHI Sumba, Indonesia

On the Indonesian island of Sumba, the focus is first and foremost on the destination itself and the experiences it offers. Horses are an important part of the island’s culture, and they are closely connected to the NIHI experience as well. Guests can ride along the beach, watch the horses during their daily swims in the ocean or even swim alongside them. The island can also be explored through visits to traditional villages, trips to waterfalls or surfing the renowned Occy’s Left wave.

Another signature experience is the Spa Safari. The journey to Nihioka Spa follows the western coastline on foot, horseback or by safari vehicle and continues with several hours of wellness treatments in a setting surrounded by rice fields, jungle and ocean. In this way, NIHI combines adventure, local culture and wellness while giving guests the opportunity to discover Sumba beyond the resort itself.

Meeting hoteliers and partners in person allows us to understand each concept in greater depth and select the ones that make sense for a particular journey. This is what enables us to recommend places and experiences to our clients based on their individual preferences, rather than simply on the destination itself.

We would like to thank Luxury Bloc and PURE Life Experiences for the opportunity to be part of both events again this year and to meet partners from around the world in person.
