The Hungarian capital welcomed us with all its diversity. We kicked off the experience with a welcome dinner at Sophie’s restaurant, which got the group in the right mood for the days ahead. The following morning was dedicated to the team game “Escape the Maze,” during which participants joined forces to tackle shared challenges. After lunch at Urban Betyár, we reviewed the game and announced the results, after which we set out to explore the city.

To ensure everyone got the most out of Budapest, we split into two groups. While one group explored the history and atmosphere of Pest with a guide, the other climbed past the Fisherman’s Bastion to Buda Castle to enjoy the most beautiful views of the Danube. The next day, the groups switched roles, so no one missed out on the best of both sides of the river.

The itinerary also included a visit to the famous Gellért Thermal Baths. For lunch, we headed to the Fakanál restaurant, located right next to the Great Market Hall, and then browsed the stalls there offering local specialties.

The highlight of the entire trip was an evening cruise on a private boat. The illuminated Parliament building, delicious refreshments, and the “unlimited prosecco” concept created an unforgettable atmosphere filled with laughter and shared memories.

We wrapped up the trip with a final group lunch at the family-run Karcsi restaurant, where, over a meal of traditional Hungarian cuisine, we reflected on several days filled with experiences that reaffirmed why Budapest is one of Central Europe’s most attractive destinations.
