In June, we travelled with a group of clients to the Island of the Gods – Crete.
The destination point on the island of Crete was a newly opened resort located near the airport in Heraklion. We started our first evening with classic Greek cuisine and lots of fresh fish. There was definitely something for everyone.
The following day, as the sun was rising, we set off for the most famous Greek island, Santorini. Accompanied by our guide, we were enriched with a lot of new information, both about Greece itself and about the island. In the free time, the participants could get lost in the alleys and soak up the atmosphere of one of the most famous islands in the world. After a generous local lunch, we headed back to the ferry and towards the hotel.
The next days we opted to relax by the hotel pools and beaches. For the active participants, we prepared sports activities, such as tennis tournaments, soccer matches, and the popular volleyball. Some of the participants chose from optional excursions which included jeep rides in the mountains as well as along the coast, exploring the beauty of Crete or tasting Cretan wines.
After a few days of rest, we went with the whole group on another excursion, to a traditional Cretan farm. Participants took part in a workshop in bread baking and the production of typical Cretan sheep cheese. They also learned about the history of Cretan farms and tasted local delicacies.
The whole incentive event ended with a dinner by the beach in the form of a gastronomic experience accompanied by live music.
