Island of the Gods – Crete

In June, we went to the Island of the Gods - Crete with a group of clients.

Our destination on the island of Crete was a newly opened resort located near the airport in Heraklion. We started our first evening with what else but classic Greek cuisine and plenty of fresh fish. There was definitely something for everyone.

The following day, as the sun rose, we set off for the most famous Greek island, Santorini. Accompanied by our guide, we were enriched with a lot of new information, both about Greece itself and about the island. In their free time, the participants were able to get lost in the alleys and soak up the atmosphere of one of the most famous islands in the world. After a hearty local lunch, we headed back to the ferry and towards the hotel.

The next few days we opted for a simpler form of relaxation. For the active participants we had sports activities, both tennis tournaments and football matches, and there was also the popular volleyball. Some of the participants chose from optional excursions, which included jeep rides in the mountains as well as along the coast, exploring the beauty of Crete or tasting Cretan wines.

After a few days of relaxation, we went on another excursion with the whole group, in the form of a traditional Cretan farm. Participants were treated to a bread baking workshop and the production of typical Cretan sheep cheese. They also learned about the history of Cretan farms and tasted local delicacies.

The whole incentive event ended with a dinner by the beach in the form of a gastronomic experience accompanied by live music.
