Lapland is our heartland destination, where we love to return with our clients. It is the ideal option for both a private holiday and a unique incentive trip. This magical part of Finland offers a unique combination of Arctic wilderness and authentic Nordic life.

This March we went with a group of 16 people to the ski resort of Levi, in the village of Sirkka. The clients were taking in the unique experience to the full throughout the event.

The morning after their arrival they went to the husky farm, where they had the opportunity to try in pairs what it is like to be a musher and drive a dog sled. From the first moment they set foot on the farm grounds, the excitement of the four-legged athletes to run out into the white tundra could be seen and heard. The energetic barking of the dogs could be heard everywhere. After the run, the participants had the opportunity to take pictures with the pack and duly reward them for their work. The group was then taken over by a local guide who showed them around the farm and explained how the huskies are cared for from puppyhood to old age and why these dogs can run huge distances in the frozen landscape.

The next item on the agenda was a visit to a reindeer farm. Reindeer are a very important part of Finnish culture, especially for the people of Lapland called the Saami, who are the original inhabitants of the area and are known as reindeer herders. Our clients had the opportunity to listen to the stories and customs of raising these semi-wild animals and also to meet them live in their enclosure.

A couple of clients decided to go on a short snowshoe hike on their day off. Accompanied by a local guide, they hiked through the forest in deep snow that they would normally sink up to their waists in. The group's goal was to climb to the top of Mount Levi, from where they had beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

An integral part of the program was a full day of adrenaline-pumping snowmobiling. After a detailed briefing on how to operate the machines, the group set off. The initial uncertainty of the unknown faded very quickly and everyone enjoyed the speed and the fascinating scenery of snow plains and frozen lakes. Along the way, we stopped for lunch in the middle of the tundra, where the clients enjoyed authentic reindeer soup eaten from traditional containers called kuksy in the warmth of the Lapland kotas, and after an outdoor lunch, we set off on the second part of the route. After returning, a well-deserved relaxation in the hotel's wellness area awaited everyone.

We believe that the participants took away amazing experiences from Finland that they will remember for a long time.
